This course allows you to freshen up on the skills you have learned before being signed off by a DVSA Officer to be an approved MOT Tester in the UK. This course is an optional extra which many Trainees decide to do after completing their Award in MOT Testing (Classes 4 & 7).

  • 1.5-Day Course (Including 1-Day Refresher Course with the Training Providers own MOT equipment and test vehicle to refresh your skills. Followed by a 2-hour inspection from the DVSA Officer the following morning, leading to a potential pass which allows you to be a fully approved MOT Tester

Course Eligibility:

• Do you hold a valid UK driving licence for the vehicle classes you wish to test?
• Do you have a minimum of four years’ experience in servicing and repairing vehicles of this class?
• Are you confident in your English reading and writing abilities?
• Do you have a clean record with no unspent criminal convictions related to the Motor Trade, MOT Testing Scheme, or offences involving violence or intimidation?
• If the answer is ‘Yes‘ then we can confirm that you can take this course.
