Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment (VTAA) –
Includes a series of multiple-choice questions and practical tasks on the vehicle. 60% and above is needed for a pass.

- Your certificate from the awarding body will arrive with the Trainers 10-28 days from the day of your course as a hardcopy. However, please note that these will be sent out alongside your follow-on certificate for the Award in MOT Testing (Classes 4 & 7) therefore please expect to receive both certificates in the post shortly after you have completed both courses.
Award in MOT Testing (Classes 4 & 7) –
Includes full use of the MOT testing manual and detailed knowledge of the vehicle inspection routine. This is a theory-based exam which includes 40 questions, whereby you will need a score of 80% and above for a pass.

- Minimum of 8 hours workshop based and the remaining in the class room
- 5 years’ worth of Annual Assessment Training
- Includes free training for Class 5 with unlimited attempts (Normally £150)
- Lifelong qualification – as long as you do not get suspended from testing for any reason
- Your certificate from the awarding body will arrive with the Trainers 10-28 days from the day of your course as a hardcopy. This will then be posted out to you at the earliest convenience.
